The limits of the price and technical information on this site, stated plainly rather than buried.
Prices are ranges, not estimates
Every figure on this site is a price range for a named operation, in US dollars, at a labor rate of $149 per hour, and it carries the date the figures were last reviewed.
The ranges are wide on purpose. The same operation on a compact car and on a three-row SUV involves different parts, different access and a different book time, and a narrow figure would be a more precise lie.
They are published so you can budget before you telephone and compare us against somebody else. They are not an estimate for your vehicle. Your number comes from a written estimate against your car, authorized by you before work starts.
Flat-rate time is how the labor is calculated
Labor is charged at the published flat-rate time for the operation on your vehicle, multiplied by the labor rate. If an operation books at 2.4 hours you are charged 2.4 hours, whether the technician takes two or four.
This is the industry-standard method and it cuts both ways: you are protected from a slow day, and we are not penalised for a fast one. It is stated here because plenty of customers have never had it explained and reasonably assume they are paying for elapsed time.
No ratings, awards or certifications are claimed
This site publishes no star rating, no review count, no award, no certification logo, no association membership, no "voted best" claim and no count of vehicles serviced.
Not because none exist, but because you cannot verify any of them from a web page, and this industry has a serious problem with badges that mean less than they appear to. What is published instead is checkable: a legal name, an address, a telephone number, posted hours, a labor rate, a diagnostic fee, a price menu and a stated process.
Florida registers motor vehicle repair shops and a registration number is displayed at the premises. Ask for ours on the telephone or when you come in.
Symptoms and technical descriptions
The symptom descriptions on this site are general patterns, not a diagnosis. The same symptom has several possible causes at several different prices, which is precisely why diagnosis is a separate priced operation.
Nothing here should be used to decide whether a vehicle is safe to drive. If you think it may not be, do not drive it and telephone.
Where this site describes a maintenance interval, your manufacturer’s schedule for your vehicle takes precedence.
Florida inspection and emissions
Florida requires no annual vehicle safety inspection and operates no emissions testing programme. Nothing on this site should be read as offering, implying or requiring either.
We do perform pre-purchase inspections and pre-trip checks. Neither is a state requirement and neither is presented as one.
Warranty
Warranty terms on repairs are stated on your repair order in months and miles, and vary with the parts grade supplied. Anything on this site about warranty is a general description; your repair order is the document that governs.

Anything on this page that is unclear — the warranty term on your repair, which parts grades are available and what each costs, what happens if the estimate has to change — is a telephone call away, and asking before you authorize is always the right time.
